Growing up, I thought that life was meant to be hard, and that showing emotions other than happiness was not okay. But as I faced my own difficulties, I learned that it’s okay not to be perfect, and that pretending or ignoring problems only works for so long. Society makes it hard enough to not want to talk about vulnerabilities, pain, mental health, and failure. I hope you can feel comfortable enough to be honest and to be yourself through this process. As a therapist, I don’t pretend to know everything. Instead, I surround myself with others who can offer advice and support. I believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and I am here to support you without judgment. I don't accept insurance, but I work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed.
